September 11th, a day of thanks to first responders.

September 11, 2001, is a date most of us have seared into our memory. The horror of the day unfolded right in front of our eyes and our thoughts ran the gamut of initial disbelief to unspeakable sorrow for the victims and their families to admiration for the thousands of brave first responders who worked tirelessly to aid those in need.

9/11 Relief Efforts

The relief efforts were shared by a diverse group of police, firefighters, nurses, doctors, tradesmen, and normal people who banded together to help their fellow citizens in a dark hour for our country. Tragedies have a way of bringing out the best in people and we are grateful for that on this anniversary.

Let’s Applaud First Responders

The current COVID health crisis and now the raging wildfires in the West show just how important our first responders are in all times and places. Let’s all applaud the work that is done by them and raise a helping hand ourselves when people are in need.
