(This is a remote position for candidates located in the following states: ALABAMA, ARKANSAS, FLORIDA, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, KANSAS, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, MISSOURI, NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA OR TENNESSEE.).  

We have been engaged in a search for a Technical Support Agent.  In this role, the individual will: 

  • Answer a high volume of calls from both customers and colleagues, providing timely and accurate assistance with a variety of inquiries and technical issues including related to broadband issues, Wifi, cable modems, DSL, and Fiber.
  • Using your problem-solving and critical thinking skills as well as technical expertise, you’ll tackle complex diagnostic troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Achieving first-call resolution while delivering exceptional service with a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability is the goal.
  • Utilizing a suite of software applications, you’ll efficiently manage customer account information and diagnose technical difficulties with ease
  • Using exceptional communication skills, you’ll interact with customers and colleagues alike, setting clear expectations and ensuring a positive experience.
  • You’ll also have the opportunity to assist other departments, provide training to new employees, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations.

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Technical support while providing excellent customer service.
  • A strong background in diagnosing and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, operating system, and cable modem issues will be valuable in this role.
  • Knowledge of basic telecommunications terminology and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Macintosh operating systems is desirable, along with a good understanding of internet/IP, web browsers, e-mail, and other PC applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot thoroughly complex business customer issues.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary. 
  • Telecom industry and Call Center background preferred.
