Software Engineer

We have been engaged in a search for a Software Engineer who will work with business users and technology teams to meet stakeholder requirements for existing and new applications.
In this role, the Software Engineer will:
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshooting software and database applications that perform critical business functions in a C#, Python, JavaScript environment.
- Respond to requests from the user community and engineer solutions with the software team to meet stakeholder needs.
- Maintain existing legacy systems during a transition to a cloud-based infrastructure.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
- High level programming languages that include one or more of the following: C#, Python, JavaScript or equivalent. (C# and JavaScript preferred).
- Structured query languages that include one or more of the following: MySQL SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T-SQL. (SQL, T-SQL preferred).
- Developing in the Microsoft Ecosystem (including Azure) – (Highly desirable).
- RESTful APIs using technologies such as Python, Node, or equivalent and tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI Specifications.
- Ability to navigate and troubleshoot a Linux environment, familiarity with cron and command line software. (Highly desirable).
- A combination of data warehousing, data governance, reporting and / or visualization of data within a cloud-based system. (Highly desirable)
- Working independently and troubleshoot problems in a complex codebase.
