Required:
- one year experience
- Knowledge of cardiac ultrasound theories, practices and procedures
- Must demonstrated ability to perform and preliminarily interpret all cardiac ultrasound modalities performed in the department.
- Must demonstrate accuracy in recording technical information, history and test results.
- Skilled in maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and co-workers.
- Maintaining records accurately.
Licensure/Certification:
- active registry status through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
