We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chronic Dialysis RN Traveler to join our healthcare team in Northampton, MA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis treatments.
**Responsibilities:**
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease.
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Operate and maintain dialysis machines and equipment.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
**Requirements:**
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in chronic dialysis nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Ability to travel and adapt to different healthcare settings.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) or Dialysis Nursing (CDN).
