We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Chronic Dialysis to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support, and education to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease
- Monitor and assess patients vital signs and response to treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on dialysis procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Operate and troubleshoot dialysis equipment
**Qualifications:**
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in chronic dialysis or nephrology nursing
- Proficient in dialysis equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred
