Job Description:
Position: Travel Dialysis RN
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Contract Type: Temporary/Contract
*Full benefit package PLUS housing
Responsibilities:
– Provide high-quality dialysis treatment to patients with chronic kidney disease
– Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
– Monitor and adjust dialysis machines and equipment
– Administer medications and IV solutions as prescribed
– Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and post-treatment care
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
– Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Skills Required:
– Strong clinical skills in dialysis procedures and patient care
– Proficiency in operating dialysis machines and related equipment
– Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong organizational and time-management skills
– Compassionate and patient-focused approach
– Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts
– Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
– Minimum 1-2 years of dialysis nursing experience
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
– Valid RN license in Massachusetts
– Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
