Job Description:
Position: Travel Dialysis RN
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Contract Type: Temporary/Contract
*Full benefit package PLUS housing
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality dialysis treatment to patients with chronic kidney disease
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and adjust dialysis machines and equipment
- Administer medications and IV solutions as prescribed
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Skills Required:
- Strong clinical skills in dialysis procedures and patient care
- Proficiency in operating dialysis machines and related equipment
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of dialysis nursing experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
