**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Dialysis RN for a travel/contract position in North Platte, NE. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
– Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures
– Patient assessment and monitoring
– Vascular access management
– Medication administration related to dialysis
– Patient education and support
– Adherence to infection control protocols
– Collaborative teamwork with healthcare professionals
**Responsibilities:**
– Perform dialysis treatments and monitor patients throughout the process
– Assess patient health and response to treatments, making necessary adjustments
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
– Educate patients and their families about dialysis care and lifestyle adjustments
– Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
**Qualifications:**
– Valid RN license in the state of Nebraska
– Minimum of 1-2 years of dialysis experience
– BLS and ACLS certification
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
