**Job Description:****Position:** Contract Chronic Dialysis RN/Traveler
**Location:** Grand Island, NE
**Responsibilities:**
– Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing chronic dialysis treatment.
– Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans.
– Administer dialysis treatments, monitor patient responses, and adjust care as needed.
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
– Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, care management, and lifestyle adjustments.
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
– Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
**Requirements:**
– Active RN license in the state of Nebraska.
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in chronic dialysis nursing.
– Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
– Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
– Flexibility to travel and adapt to different clinical environments.
**Preferred Skills:**
– Experience with various dialysis machines and equipment.
– Knowledge of renal nutrition and patient dietary counseling.
– Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
**Contract Details:**
– Duration: 13 weels
