**Job Title:** Contract Registered Nurse – Chronic Dialysis**Location:** Medford, MA
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a contract basis for our Chronic Dialysis unit in Medford, MA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer dialysis treatments, and monitor patient responses. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Administer and monitor dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease.
– Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
– Educate patients and their families about the dialysis process and ongoing care.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
– Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
– Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis nursing.
– Strong understanding of dialysis procedures and protocols.
– Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
– Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
